Hi, I’m Jeffrey, founder of Your Dream Coffee and a coffee expert with a background in culinary arts.
My Coffee Journey
My journey has been an exciting mix of creativity, craftsmanship, and hands-on experience—all of which led me to the world of specialty coffee.
I started my career in professional kitchens, where I trained as a chef and learned the ins and outs of flavor development, precision techniques, and ingredient balance.
It was in those fast-paced kitchens that I discovered my passion for coffee—from crafting the perfect espresso to appreciating the delicate flavors in a pour-over.
As I explored specialty coffee, I realized how overwhelming it can be for home brewers to find reliable, expert-backed information—with so much misleading advice online.
That’s why I created Your Dream Coffee—a space where I share tested brewing techniques, hands-on experience, and honest product recommendations to help you make better coffee at home.

My Approach to Coffee
With a culinary background, I approach coffee like a chef—focusing on:
- How different beans & roast levels influence flavor.
- The impact of grind size, water quality, and extraction.
- How to achieve balance, consistency, and the perfect cup.
I believe that anyone can make great coffee at home with the right knowledge, techniques, and tools—and that’s exactly what I share through Your Dream Coffee.
☕ My favorite brewing method: Brewing a cup of coffee with the V60. I love the control and precision it offers, allowing each coffee’s unique flavors to shine.
Beyond Coffee: My Next Adventures
Outside of coffee, I love traveling, staying active, and seeking new experiences. Here are a few things I’d love to accomplish:
- Learn to dive
- Go skydiving
- See the Northern Lights (Checked off in 2024!)
- Design and build a house
- Go supersonic in a fighter jet
- Get featured in a Hollywood movie
- See a live performance of Eminem (Checked off in 2019!)
